I LIKE TO HELP YOU AND YOUR COMPANY TO RUN THINGS SMOOTHLY
By finding balance between your people and your systems, Bright Brothers’ Ruben Veenendaal helps you to get a better grip on your company’s processes. Eventually leading to optimized operations and the best results.
Whether it’s about improving small steps in your supply chain or radically optimizing your business processes, Ruben knows how to re-energize your people and business operations. Ruben likes to focus on people rather than machines, but he knows how to make them work together to get the best out of both. With a background in the dynamic retail and fashion world, his approach is results-driven, and always with a bright smile.
To get your people and systems aligned, Ruben works ‘on the job’ according to the Lean Six Sigma principles. The job is only complete once every step has been safely stored in the organization and owned by all concerned. By observing, reporting, and communicating, Ruben becomes acquainted with your company’s dynamics to make sure he can provide you with a personal and efficient process plan that supports your business goals for today and the future.

"Ruben brings a lot of positive energy with him. He immediately became part of the organisation, and connected with the people around him. By doing that, he quickly managed to improve our systems and processes.”
Richard de Jong
Director of Operations, Petrol Industries
The (b)right approach.
1. GET THE PEOPLE READY
We have to get rid of bad habits, and get acquainted with new ones. This requires effort from all sides. Ruben doesn’t believe in authoritarian leadership or politics on the work floor, so to get things done, the whole team has to be aligned and willing to improve. Together we do that by trust, respect, commitment and a healthy dose of humor.
2. GET THE PROCESS
What is necessary, and what isn’t? By having conversations and making observations, we map the old and new processes together, and find what’s working and what’s not. Next to the processes, we look for involvement, direction and inspiration. We investigate and challenge all elements, put them into flows and words, and ask ourselves if they’re “nice” or “necessary”
3. GET THE SYSTEMS RIGHT
How do you make optimal use of software, hardware and the people that work with them? In order to achieve a maximum ROI and prevent inefficient work, we try to align the workflows with the systems as much as possible to make the systems work for you, and not the other way around.
4. GET THE WORK
When everyone is on the same page, it’s time to start the new processes. Anything we missed or still needs improving? We fix it on the go. We don’t stop until everything works, and during implementation we take care of final workflows and written SOP’s to leave everyone behind with a bright smile.
